Creating CDS Disk Groups Using vxdg split
You can use the vxdg split command to create a CDS disk group from an existing CDS disk group. The new (target) and original (source) disk group retain the same CDS attribute; that is, if the source is CDS, then the new disk group is also CDS. The new disk group also has the same alignment as the original disk group. Refer to the VERITAS Volume Manager Adminstrator's Guide for examples of using this command.
Note
This command is not supported for the Solaris OS on the x64 platform.
