Prerequisites

  Verify Sybase is installed and configured, with the considerations described under VCS Requirements for Installing Sybase, on all cluster nodes where you will be configuring the service group.

  Verify the Sybase agent is installed on all cluster systems. For more information, see Installing the Sybase Agent.

  Verify the Sybase agent type definition is imported into the VCS engine. See Importing the SybaseTypes.cf File for instructions.
