Secure Global Desktop supports many different types of user, including users with ENS person objects, UNIX users, LDAP users and anonymous users. The usernames and passwords depend on the type of user. |

Applications on users' webtops may run on many different application servers. When a user clicks a link to start an application, Secure Global Desktop may prompt them for a username and password for the application server. By default, users may choose to save the authentication details in the password cache (stored securely on the Secure Global Desktop server) so they don't need to type their details more than once. |
