Attribute name | Usage |
---|---|
Available to run applications | Check or clear the box. |
Command option | Usage |
---|---|
--available true|false
|
Specify -- available true or false .
|
This attribute specifies whether applications can run on this application server.
Checking the box (--available true
) allows applications to run. The box is
checked by default. An application is started on the application server only if:
Unchecking the box (--available false
) means that no new applications can be started
on the application server. Making an application server unavailable does not affect
applications that are already running. If a user has a suspended application session on the
application server and the application has been set up to be always resumable,
the user will be able to resume their session.
You can use this attribute, for example, to make an application server temporarily unavailable while you carry out maintenance work.
If the application server is the only server configured to run a particular application, then the application will not be available to users.
