To alter a queue, you must name the queue. You must also specify maximum retries as 5 (the default), or specify maximum retries. You must also specify no retry delay (the default), or specify retry dealy in seconds.

You must also do one of the following:

• Specify no retention (the default)
• Specify the retention in seconds
• Retain indefinitely

You may optionally set auto-commit to true (the default) or to false. Warning: These have been deprecated. You may optionally add a queue description
