This illustration illustrates the combined architecture of Oracle Syndication Server with Oracle Dynamic Services and it highlights how the content provider adaptor relates to specific Oracle Dynamic Services services designed by Oracle Syndication Server.

Content providers consist of three types of sources: file, database, and Web. Each of these content source types is modeled as a minimal set of services in the Dynamic Services Framework, which include:

• Catalog DS Service - xxxxGetCatalog, where xxxx represents the prefix DB, File, or Web
• Subscription Approval DS Service - xxxxGetPackage, where xxxx represents the prefix DB, File, or Web
• Content Access DS Service - xxxxOnSubscribe, where xxxx represents the prefix DB, File, or Web
