Purpose

RAWTONHEX converts raw to an NVARCHAR2 character value containing its hexadecimal equivalent.

Examples

The following hypothetical example returns the hexadecimal equivalent of a RAW column value:

SELECT RAWTONHEX(raw_column),
   DUMP ( RAWTONHEX (raw_column) ) "DUMP" 
   FROM graphics;
